Partners
In the project we have six partners: five service providers and one expert partner. As the applicant organisation, FIT Sarzana SSD ARL is responsible for the project management. With the cooperation of all partners, the project manager is responsible for the process. All partners are responsible for the production of Project Results. This process of production is coordinated by FIT Sarzana in cooperation with the expert organisation All About Quality Consultancy.

FIT Sarzana SSD ARL is a sport society providing coaching activities and facilitating fitness for persons with and without disability. It is a fitness centre opened in 2011. In recent years, the gym has undergone considerable changes, continuous investment oriented to the best customer service, best practices and excellent results in offering a package of services. The mission is to always be close to the clients’ needs, and perhaps anticipate possible changes in their expectations. FIT Sarzana is affiliated to the regional branch of the Sport National organisation ‘Associazioni Sportive Sociali Italiane’ (ASI Liguria).
Fundacion INTRAS is a non-profit organization founded in 1994 dedicated to high-quality research and intervention in the mental health field. That includes great efforts to break down barriers that prevent people with psychosocial disabilities to access to HEPA and Sport activities. INTRAS supports the inclusive sport Club ‘Duero’ and it is composed by a team of more than 350 professionals, who support the recovery of people with psychosocial disabilities as well as elderly with cognitive impairment.
Panagia Eleousa was founded in 1990 and it provides training, social inclusion and empowerment programmes and supported living services to 170 people, with intellectual disabilities aged over fifteen years, free of any charge. It has 3 Education centers and 4 facilities of Supported Living. The organization also implements various cultural and sports activities aiming firstly at the social inclusion of the service users and on the other hand at raising public awareness on disability issues, generating social integration prospects. Our mission is to educate and care for the service users-people with intellectual and related disabilities by providing them innovative programmes to develop their full potential, to empower them in the field of social inclusion and also to contribute to the improvement of their quality of life.
Valakupiai Rehabilitation Centre (VRC) Public Institution’s mission is to strive for a better quality of life, health and social participation of every person through delivery of comprehensive person- and community- centered services.
VRC runs physiotherapy unit where different physical activities are used to not only to recover from the surgeries and improve persons’ physical conditioning, but also to encourage to be more physically active in daily life. The gym, swimming pool, outdoor basketball playground are available for services users with different disabilities.
REA College is a vocational education centre in the Netherlands for people with a disability that are not able to finish an education at a mainstream VET school. We have tailor-made assessment, VET, training in social skills (how to behave as an employee) and empowerment training. At the end of the program, we help the students to find a job in the open labour market. About 60% of our students succeed in sustainable employment throughout qualification and employment services. Empowerment and Self-determination are main guidelines in the way we work.
ALL ABOUT QUALITY CONSULTNACY (AAQC) is a registered ‘one-person company’. AAQC has specific expertise in providing advice, training and consultancy in Organisational and Quality Culture Assessment, Quality Standard Development, Curriculum Development, Project Development, Project Management and Project Evaluation. AAQC has a longstanding experience in providing technical expertise to European projects, in the context of improving quality in Vocational Training and Education (VET) and Social Services, the integration of people with disabilities into society and labour market, developing curricula for sport instructors providing sport activities for person with disabilities, implementing a Persons Centered Approach in VET and Social Services and developing practical tools for monitoring and improving the quality of services.
